Event Details
The Royal Coast Walks Paddle and Hike is a half-day kayaking and half-day walking adventure through Sydney’s Royal National Park.
Explore the beautiful and secluded waterway of South West Arm on the Port Hacking River learning about the original Dharawal inhabitants and the early European settlers. See ruins of these pioneer houses and hope to spot some wildlife on the river shore.
After enjoying a healthy BBQ lunch embark on an afternoon coastal walk and experience ancient Aboriginal carvings, bizarre sandstone formations of Wave Rock and Prawn Rock, a real hermit's cave and stunning coastal views.
This tour is suitable for beginners and all safety gear is provided, however guests must be able to swim.
Paddle - 8km / 5 miles (3 hours)
Hike - 5km / 3.1 miles (3 hours)

Inclusions:
- Expert guide with commentary for both the paddle and the hike
- Kayak and safety gear hire

Booking Conditions
1. Booking is confirmed once full payment is received via credit card or EFT.
2. Prices are per person in Australian dollars and include GST
3. A minimum of 4 people is required for this tour to go ahead.
4. Royal Coast Walks reserves all rights to cancel or reschedule the activity if numbers do not meet the minimum requirements.
5. Minimum age is 10 years old unless earlier agreed with Royal Coast Walks.
6. Appropriate identification may be asked to be shown for Concession ticket holders (children under 16 years and Seniors over 65 years). A YHA/HI member card must be produced when a member discount ticket is purchased.

Bad Weather Policy
1. Royal Coast Walks reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tour in cases of extreme weather
including severe electrical storms, or where the National Parks and Wildlife Service close the park due to fire danger. Tours will still proceed if it is raining.
2. Royal Coast Walks reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the activity in cases of other unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, bushfire, road or track closures, operational conditions and requirements. We recommend that you protect yourself with travel insurance.
3. Participants who booked directly through Royal Coast Walks will be given a full refund or credit in this situation.
4. Participants who purchased the tour through a third party (Red Balloon) are issued with a refund voucher.
Cancellation Policy
1. Tickets are transferable. Please notify Royal Coast Walks of the new participant.
2. If you would like to CANCEL your booking due to any circumstance, the following applies:
* More than 21 days before departure: 80% refund
* Between 14 and 21 days before departure: 50% refund
* Between 3 and 14 days before departure: 25% refund
* Less than 3 days before departure: 0% refund
3. If you would like to CHANGE THE DATE of your booking, the following charges apply:
* More than 21 days before departure: no charge.
* Between 14 and 21 days before departure: 20% administration fee.
* Less than 14 days before departure: No changes can be made, see cancellation policy above for refund.
Please note all changes are subject to availability.
4. Once the tour has departed, no portion of the payment is refundable in the event of an individual or group being unable to proceed further on the tour, for whatever reason.
Privacy Policy
Royal Coast Walks is respectful of the privacy of all users of the Royal Coast Walks site.
We collect the following personal information when you book a tour:
First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile Phone, Home Address, Gender, Age, Nationality
We will email you confirmation of your booking and place your email address on our mailing list until you request to remove it.
We do not store banking or credit card details. Our Merchant Banking provider may request additional information when making payment and will have a Privacy Policy and User Agreement of their own.
